Miss Georgia Chasity Hardman, a native of Columbus, said that there is only one thing better than dream about the Miss America contest:
The experience of the real thing.
“It’s wonderful,” Hardman said in a telephone interview Friday. “Of course, anticipation is building.”
The graduate of Shaw High School will compete tonight in the Miss America contest, which broadcasts live from TLC Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Will not be the first time viewers see Hardman.
In the weeks before the contest, TLC air “Countdown to the Crown,” a reality television series with the participants.
